Other parameters, for example, acceleration and rail characteristics, also have an important role in contributing towards ride qua

25、lity. Refer to annexes A and B for further information on these parameters. It comprises two informative annexes (annex A and annex B). 27、 Standard specifies the requirements for the homologation of track geometry quality parameters as measured by various measuring devices fitted on track recording vehicles.“ These measuring devices are described in !Part 2“ of the standard. This European Standard applies to all track geometry paramet

28、ers including track gauge, longitudinal level, alignment, cross level (cant / superelevation) and twist. It defines each parameter and specifies the requirements for measurement, the analysis methods and the presentation of results. !Parts 3 and 4 give a description of measuring devices complying pa

40、Axes of a track co-ordinate system 4 Principal track geometric parameters 4.1 Description of the track co-ordinate system The track geometry quality is described by means of a relative rectangular co-ordinate system centred to the track with clockwise rotation (refer to Figure 1) : X-axis : axis rep

46、lue (minimum and maximum peak value). 4.2.8 Output requirements Measurements taken by recording vehicles, track maintenance machines or trolleys shall be recorded as a consecutive set of readings preferably in digital form and shall also be presented graphically. For manually operated devices each t

47、rack gauge measurement shall be recorded as a single value. 4.2.9 Output presentation As a minimum, track gauge shall be prescribed by the following: the identification of individual defects which exceed a prescribed threshold. the measured track gauge. the difference between the measured track gaug

48、e and the nominal track gauge. the mean track gauge over a specified distance. the variation of track gauge over a specified distance. 4.3 Longitudinal level 4.3.1 Definition Deviation zp in z-direction of consecutive running table levels on any rail, expressed as an excursion from the mean vertical

49、 position (reference line), covering the wavelength ranges stipulated below and is calculated from successive measurements (refer to Figure 4).
