This Europea
17、n Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identicaltext or by endorsement, at the latest by December 2013, and conflicting national standards shall bewithdrawn at the latest by December 2013. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elemen
18、ts of this document may be the subject of patentrights. CEN and/or CENELEC shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights. This document supersedes EN 13602:2002. In comparison with EN 13602:2002, the following changes were made: Terms have been modified. Normative refer
19、ences have been updated. Editorial modifications have been made. Within its programme of work, Technical Committee CEN/TC 133 requested CEN/TC 133/WG 4 “Extruded anddrawn products, forgings and scrap“ to prepare the following revision of the standard: EN 13602:2002, Copper and copper alloys Drawn, r
20、ound copper wire for the manufacture of electricalconductors. The products specified in this European Standard are those which are especially suitable for electricalpurposes, i.e. with specified electrical properties. Drawn round wire for general purposes is specified inEN 12166. This is one of a se
21、ries of European Standards for copper products for electrical purposes.
