This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by
13、publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by October 2012, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by October 2012. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. CEN and/or CEN

The following is a list of significant technical changes since the last edition: test cubes renamed as test plates and height of cylindrical specimens defined; the system to a
15、pply the load clarified, including that the equipment is suitable; pneumatic thrusters redefined as pneumatic actuator; clarification that the water bath only has to be capable of maintaining the temperature in the vicinity of the sample; in the preparation of samples, the temperature of mastic asph
16、alt with modified binders and/or for low temperature mastic asphalt shall be in accordance with the producers instructions; requirement added about the storage of specimens prior to the start of testing from the time of their manufacture.
