Four straight lines shall be drawn at angles of 45“ to each other, intemxting at the cenixe of the Plate. 6.3 Funnel support, comprising a frame of substantial construction to support the funnel (6.1) so that the axis of the funnel passes through the centre of t

9、he baseplate and the tip of the funnel spout is 120 mm above the surface of the baseplate. 6 Procedure 6.1 Test sample We a test sample of appropriate size. NOTE. Usually 10 kg will be sufficient. 6.2 Determination 6.2.1 Carry out the determination at ambient temperature. 6.2.2 Check that the base-p

10、late (6.2) is level and that the funnel (6.1) is properly located and fixed in the support (6.3). 6.2.3 Pour the test sample (6.1) int the funnel (6.1) with the slide closed. Then open the slide and alow the fertilizer to discharge in a steady stseam, takmg care not to vibrate the apparatus. if the

11、amount of fertilizer is not sufficient, i.e. if the top of the cone which is formed on the base-plate does not reach the tip of the funnel spout, pour an additional amount of the test sample into the funnel in a steady stream with the slide still open until the top of the cone reaches the tip of the

12、 funnel spout Mark the circumference of the base of the cone on the eight radii drawn on the baseplate, ignoring any grains which form only a single layer around the base of the cone. 14、 the equation: a=arctanLeJ or a = arctan L+-) where: h is the height of the cone, in millimetres; ii is the arithmetic mean of the four diameters measured as specified in 6.2.3, in milhetres; 4 is the internal diameter of the funnel spout, in miiimetres. 8 Precision The precision of the method was e

15、stablished by an inter-laboratory test carried out in accordance with Is0 5725. For the oblained repeatability limit and reproducibility limit a probability level of 95 % holds. 8.1 Repeatability The absolute difference between two singie test results, obtained under repeatability conditions, will e

16、xceed 1“ on average not more than once in 20 cases. Both resuits should be considered suspect if this limit is exceeded NOTE. Repeatability conditions: Conditions where mutually independent test results are obtained with the same method on identical test material in the same laboratory by the same o

17、perator using the same equipment under the same conditions within short intervais of time. 8.2 Reproducibility The absolute difference between two single test results, obtained under reproducibility conditions, wil exceed 2“ on average not more than once in 20 cases. Both results should be considere

18、d suspect if this limit is exceeded NOTE. Reproducibility conditions: Conditions where test resuits are obtained with the same method on identical test material in different laboratories with different operators using different equipment under different conditions. 9 Tkst report The test report shal
