1、MILITARY SPECIFICATION SURVIVAL KIT, INDIVIDUAL This specification is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense. 1. SCOPE 1.1 This specification covers a kit containing specified medical and survival items for individuals stranced in isolated areas. 2. APPLICABLE

The survival kit shall consist of a molded polyethylene container packed with the components listed on

7、 the Drawing. 3.2 Materials. Except as specified herein, materials shall conform to the applicable portions of the specifications, standards, and drawhgs specified herein and shall be capable of meeting the requirements shown therein. men materials are not specifically designated, those used shall b

Containers shall be molded of polyethylene plastic conforming to the requirements of L-P-390 for type I, class 1. thickness of the plastic shall be 0.050 - 0.072 inch. semi-rigid and suf

9、ficiently transparent as to permit labels and identification cards, printed as specified herein, to be read through two thicknesses of ma- terial without difficulty.
