The centrifuge h.ousing shall Include: a compartment fo

8、r the internal battery power supply, an internal control circuitry for battery checks, an on-off switch, and a receptacle for connecting the AC adapter. The centrifuge without batteries shall weigh approximately 15 ounces. When connected to a suitable power source (batteries or AC adapter) the centr

9、ifuge shall operate without any noisy vibrations and shall automatically stop when the centrifugation time is complete. 10、ects which Quality Assurance Provisions. Responsibility for inspection. Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the contractor is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order,

11、 the contractor may use his own or any facilities suitable for the performance of the inspection requirements specified herein, unless disapproved by the Government. The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed n

12、ecessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. Records. Records of examinations and tests performed by or for the contractor shall be maintained by the contractor and made available to the Government upon the Governments request, at any time, or from time to time, durin

13、g the performance of the contract and for a period of three years after delivery of the supplies to which such records relate. Inspection. Inspection, as used herein, is defined as both examination (such as visual or auditory investigation without the use of special laboratory appliances or procedur

15、ests. Inspections and tests shall be conducted to determine compliance with specification requirements. Where feasible, the same samp1.e shall be used for the determination of two or nore test characteristics. Operational Test. Each centrifuge shall be teste6 to demonstrate its capability to operate

16、 properly. Centrifugation Time. The centrifv.a,e shall be connected to a suitable electrical source. The centrifuge shall be operated by turning the switch to the on position, and the time of programmed centrifugation shall be determined using a suitable timer. The sampling for testing shall be cond

17、ucted in accordance with MIL-STD- 105 and an inspection level of S-l. Any centrifuge that does not operate for at least 3 minutes and 2G seconds before stopping shall be cause for rejection. The acceptance number shall be zero. Rotor Speed. The centrifue shall be connected to a suitable electrical s

18、ource. The centrifuge shall be operated and the rotor speed shall be determined by use of a strobic light or other suita- ble means. The sampling for testing shall be conducted in accordance with MIL-STD-105 and an inspection level of S-l. Any centrifuge whose rotor speed does not operate within a r

19、ange of 11,400 to 1J,600 rprn shall be cause for rejection. The acceptance number shall be zero.
