3、approved for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense. 1. SCOPE 1.1 Scope. This specification establishes the general requirements for electrically conductive elastomeric shielding gaskets. These gaskets are intended for use in electromagnetic interference/radio frequency int
4、erference suppression applications. 1.2 Classification. 1.2.1 Part or Identifying Number (PIN). PINs to be used for gaskets acquired to this specification are created as follows: M 83528/ 001 C 005 Military designator General specification number Specification sheet number (3 digits) Material type (
5、see 1.2.1.1) Dash number (see 3.1) 1.2.1.1 Material type. A Silver-plated, copper-filled silicone capable of 110 dB of plane wave shielding effectiveness at 10 GHz with a continuous use temperature range of -55C to +125C. B Silver-plated, aluminum-filled silicone capable of 100 dB of plane wave shie
6、lding effectiveness at 10 GHz with a continuous use temperature range of -55C to +160C. C Silver-plated, copper-filled fluorosilicone capable of 110 dB of plane wave shielding effectiveness at 10 GHz with a continuous use temperature range of -55C to +125C and resistant to solvents and jet fuels. D
7、Silver-plated, aluminum-filled fluorosilicone capable of 90 dB of plane wave shielding effectiveness at 10 GHz, with, a continuous use temperature range of -55C to +160C, and resistant to solvents and jet fuels. E A medium durometer, pure silver-filled silicone capable of 110 dB of plane wave shield
