1、MIL-C-483D AMENDMENT-1 26 June 1978 MILITARY SPECIFICATION CLOTH, PIm; ALPACA AND WOOL This amendment forms a part of Military Specification MIL-C-483D, dated 15 March 1974, and is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense. PAGE 1 1.2, under “Classification“: Add

2、the following: “Type X - Cloth, knitted wool pile, polyester back“. 2.1: Add the following Military Specification: “MIL-C-43665 - Cloth Wool: Mothproofing Treatment Of“. PAGE 2 2.1, under MILITARY: 3.3, after “Materials“: 3.3.1.1: Add the following sentence: Add “MIL-STD-1491 - Glossary of Knztted I

3、mperfections“. Add “(see 6.8)“. “The backing yarn for type X shall be spun polyester (see 3.5,3).“ PAGES 2 and 3 3.3.1.2.1 and 3.3.1.2.2: Delete last sentence in both paragraphs. Add the following new paragraph: “3.3.1.2.3 Type X. The pile shall be wool. The wool shall not be lower in grade than 56s
