Unless otherwise noted herein or in the contract, in the event of a co
11、nflict between the text of this document and the references cited herein, the text of this document takes precedence. Nothing in this document, however, supersedes applicable laws and regulations unless a specific exemption has been obtained. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Interface and physical dimensions. Th
12、e interface and physical dimensions shall be as specified in MIL-PRF-83421 and herein (see figure 1 and table I.). 3.1.1 Leads. See figure 1. 3.1.1.1 Pure tin. The use of pure tin, as an underplate or final finish is prohibited both internally and externally. Tin content of capacitor components and
13、solder shall not exceed 97 percent, by mass. Tin shall be alloyed with a minimum of 3 percent lead, by mass (see 6.3). 3.1.2 Case material. Nonmagnetic (end seals may be of magnetic material). 3.1.3 Operating temperature range. The operating temperature range shall be -55C to +125C. Provided by IHSN

16、cal characteristics. The electrical characteristics shall be as follows. 3.2.1 Rated voltage. See table I. 3.2.2 Dielectric type. Metallized PTFE (Teflon). 3.2.3 Temperature coefficient. Capacitance shall be measured in accordance with MIL-PRF-83421. 3.2.5 Dissipation
18、factor (+25C ). Dissipation factor of 0.05 percent maximum, measured in accordance with MIL-PRF-83421. 3.2.6 Insulation resistance. Measured in accordance with MIL-PRF-83421. Dielectr
21、ic absorption shall be 0.01 percent maximum, measured in accordance with MIL-PRF-83421. 3.2.9 Capacitance tolerance. 0.25 percent, 1 percent, or 2 percent as shown in table I. 3.3 Solderability of terminals. In accordance with MIL-PRF-83421. 3.4 Vibration. In accordance with MIL-PRF-83421, test cond
22、ition D of MIL-STD-202, method 204. 3.5 Shock. In accordance with MIL-PRF-83421, test condition G of MIL-STD-202, method 213. 3.6 Immersion. In accordance with MIL-PRF-83421. 3.7 Moisture resistance. In accordance with MIL-PRF-83421. 3.8 Life. Life shall be 100 percent of rated voltage applied at +1
23、25C for 2,000 hours. 3.9 Thermal aging. In accordance with MIL-PRF-83421, 10 cycles minimum from -65C to +125C with no physical damage. 3.10 Burn in. In accordance with MIL-PRF-83421, 48 hours minimum at +125C, at 140 percent of rated dc voltage, no physical damage. 3.11 Seal test. 3.11.1 Fine leak.
24、 Helium bomb 45 psi for 1 hour minimum, check for helium leak, test limit 1 x 10-6atm cm3/second maximum. 3.11.2 Gross leak.
