This CID covers the general requirements for a tuo-sided, double-density, 3.8 TPMM (96 TPI), 1. 130 mn (5.25 inches) flexible disk. Flexible disks covered by

3、 this CID are intended for comnercial/industrial applications. 2. Number (PIN) as shown in the following exanple (see 6.1). SCOPE. CLASSIFICATION. This CID uses a classification system uhich is included in the Part or Identification Minimum formatted memory - AA55462 - o1 I I 02 03 Dash nunber (see

4、table I) A CID nunber Preformatted for IBM PC/AT, MS DOS 3.1 and higher. 720 kilobytes (kb) Preformatted for MAC. 3. c LIENT CHARACTERISTICS 3.1 Recording surfaces. This flexible disk shall have two recording surfaces. 3.2 Nunber of tracks. There shall be 80 discrete concentric data tracks in the re

5、cording area for data interchange on each side of this disk. 3.3 Track density. 3.4 Disk density. memory. This flexible disk shall have 3.8 TPMM (96 TPI). This flexible disk shall be double density with a minimum of 1.0 MB of unformatted 3.5 Bits per radian (BPR). The BPR for this flexible disk shal

6、l be 7,958 BRP. 3.6 Jacket. The jacket shall be square with a side 133.35 mn t 0.38 mn (5.250 inches 1.015 inch).
