This description covers indu

2、strial quality casing nails suitable for use in fastening framing wood. Salient characteristics: Design. Casing nails shall be constructed with flat countersunk cupped heads, diamond points, round smooth Dimensions. The dimensions and number per pound shall be as specified in table I. shanks and bri

4、 215 Tolerances: Shank diameters (D) of .O76 or less shall have tolerances of 2 0.002 inch. Shank diameters greater than 0.076 inch shall have tolerances of 2 0.004 inch. Head diameters (H) shall be 2 10 percent of the specified H for hand-driven nails and as per the manufacturers specification for

5、machine-driven nails. Length (L) for nails 2-112 inches or less in length the tolerances shall be 2 1/16 inch. For nails greater than 2-1/2 inches in length the tolerances shall be 2 3/32 inch. Steel wire shall be of good commercial quality, entirely suitable for the purpose and sufficient ductile t

6、o insure that the finished product shall withstand, without fracture, cold bending through 180 degrees over a diameter not greater than the diameter of the wire. 7、e of corrosion. Mechanically driven cohered items shall be uniform and properly alligned in their assembled form. Regulatory requirements. The offeror/contractor is encouraged to use recovered materials in accordance with Public Law 94-580 to the maximum extent practicable. Preservation, packaging,

8、packing, lableing, and marking. The preservation, packaging, packing, labeling, and marking shall be as specified in the contract or order. Note.
