19、d have a capacity of 10 000 L/d (2650 gal/d) or less.This Standard also covers site-assembled components included in package non-potable water reuse systems.Notes: (1) In this Standard, package non-potable water reuse systems for wastewater or greywater are referred to as package plants.(2) This Sta

20、ndard is not intended to limit the use of package reuse systems in combination for applications that require a treatment capacity greater than 10 000 L/d (2650 gal/d).(3) This Standard does not cover custom-engineered systems. For such systems, the authority having jurisdiction should be consulted.(

22、truction;(c) treatment performance;(d) markings; and(e) instructions and other documentation.1.3This Standard specifies two different levels (Class A and Class B) of treated reclaimed water quality. The requirements of Class A are more stringent than those of Class B (see Clause 5.9.1). The authorit

23、ies having jurisdiction are responsible for determining the appropriate class of reclaimed water for each non-potable purpose.1.4In CSA standards, “shall” is used to express a requirement, i.e., a provision that the user is obliged to satisfy in order to comply with the standard; “should” is used to

Non-potable water systems can also treat non-potable water.Note: A non-p

41、otable water system can include storage tanks, pressurization equipment, and treatment systems (e.g., a package plant).Operating capacity the average daily volume of reclaimed water a package plant can produce on a sustained basis.Package plant a fully assembled or readily assembled non-potable wate

42、r reuse system that(a)can be readily transported to the installation site;(b) allows for easy installation and immediate operation; and(c) is capable of supplying reclaimed water over a 24 h period.Package plant diverter a device used to divert(a) wastewater or greywater to a sanitary drainage syste

43、m in the event of a power or system failure; or(b) excess wastewater or reclaimed water to a sanitary drainage system if the storage system has reached design capacity.Note: A sanitary drainage system conducts wastewater to tanks, ground disposal systems, sanitary sewers, or other means of disposing

44、 of wastewater that are acceptable to the authority having jurisdiction.Reclaimed water wastewater or greywater collected and treated for a direct beneficial use.Recovery period a period of time after the final stress event of a stress test when the specimen is dosed at steady state.Seven-day (7 d)

46、y (bathing or laundry) as opposed to a combination of greywater sources.Specimen a package plant provided by a manufacturer for testing.Steady state the normal hydraulic and water quality operating conditions that a specimen is subjected to during a testing period.Stress event a period in which a sp
