19、ic pressure corresponding to mean sea level), adjusting the height above ground from 10 m to zhub, and adjusting the wind speed averaging period from 1 h to 10 min.For certain Canadian locations, the 50 year return period q values are listed in Table C-2 of the 2010 National Building Code of Canada
20、(NBCC). qsitemay be calculated using q and the method to account for wind speed up over hills and escarpments in Commentary I of the Users Guide NBC 2010: Structural Commentaries (Part 4 of Division B).For sites not represented by locations listed in NBCC Table C-2, recommendations may be obtained f
21、rom Environment Canada in the form of a Site Specific Hourly Wind Pressure Documentation Sheet, which provides the 50 year return period value of Qe. Qeis the site specific equivalent wind pressure at 10 m as supplied by Environment Canada. Qecan be used as an equivalent to qsitein the equation for
