Scope1.1 The thermophysical property tables for propane are usedin calculating the pressure-volume-temperature (PVT),thermodynamic, and transport propert
3、ies of propane for pro-cess design and operations. Two tables provide properties at theconditions of liquid-vapor equilibrium (saturation properties),one for liquid and one for vapor, at temperatures between 90Kand the critical point, 380K.Athird table provides properties atselected T, p points for
4、the equilibrium phase at temperaturesbetween 90K and 600K at pressures to 20 MPa. The tableswere developed by the National Institute of Standards andTechnology from a Standard Reference Database productREFPROP, version 9.0.1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded asstandard. No other uni
5、ts of measurement are included in thisstandard.2. Applicability2.1 These tables apply only to pure gaseous propane. Theymay also be used in mathematical models and tables for thethermophysical properties of mixtures containing propane.3. Tables3.1 These tables were produced by equations from a com-p
6、uter package, “NIST Standard Reference Database 23; Ref-erence Fluid Thermodynamic and Transport Properties Data-base (REFPROP): Version 9.0.”2A wide selection of units (SIunits, engineering units, chemical units) and additional prop-erties are available with this program.3.2 These thermophysical pr

10、1)4. Additional Information4.1 Reference state properties are required to calculate thethermodynamic properties enthalpy and entropy from an equa-tion of state formulation. The reference state properties usedare those specified by the International Institute of Refrigera-tion (IIR): enthalpy, H= 200
11、 J/g, and entropy, S= 1 J/(g K), forthe saturated liquid at 273.15K (0C).4.2 The molar mass of propane is 44.096 g/mol.5.
