Scope1.1 The thermophysical property tables for propane are foruse in the calculation of the pressure-volume-temperature(PVT), thermodynamic, and trans
3、port properties of propane forprocess design and operations. Tables are provided for gaseousand liquid propane at temperatures between 90 and 600 K atpressures to 20 MPa. One table provides properties at theconditions of liquid-vapor equilibrium (saturation properties).The other table provides prope
4、rties at selected T, p points forthe equilibrium phase at those conditions. The tables weredeveloped by the National Institute of Standards and Technol-ogy from a Standard Reference Database product REFPROP,version 8.0.1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded asstandard. No other units o
5、f measurement are included in thisstandard.2. Applicability2.1 These tables apply directly only to pure gaseous pro-pane. However, it is expected that they may find substantial usein mathematical models and tables for the thermophysicalproperties of mixtures containing propane.3. Tables3.1 These the
6、rmophysical property tables are:3.1.1 Thermophysical Properties of Coexisting Gaseous andLiquid Propane, in SI units. See Table 1.3.1.2 Thermophysical Properties of Propane Along Isobars,in SI units. See Table 2.3.2 The tabulated thermophysical properties are:r, molar density (moll-1)H, molar enthal
7、py (Jmol-1)S, molar entropy (JK-1mol-1)Cv, constant volume molar heat capacity (JK-1mol-1)Cp, constant pressure molar heat capacity (JK-1mol-1)c, speed of sound (ms-1)h, viscosity (Pas)l, thermal conductivity (mWm-1K-1)3.3 These tables were produced by equations from a com-puter package, “NIST Stand
8、ard Reference Database 23; Ref-erence Fluid Thermodynamic and Transport Properties Data-base (REFPROP): Version =8.0” A wide selection of units (SIunits, engineering units, chemical units) is available with thisprogram.24. Additional Information4.1 Reference state properties are required to calculat
9、ecertain of the thermodynamic properties (enthalpy, entropy,etc.) from an equation of state formulation. The reference stateproperties used to generate the tables in this specification are:enthalpy, H, and entropy, S, at 298.15 K and 0.101325 MPa(H = 14740.2 J/mol and S = 270.203 J/(mol K). The mola
10、rmass of propane is 44.096 g/mol.5.
