3、ced concrete pipe intended to be used for the conveyance of sewage, industrial wastes, and storm water, and for the construction of culverts. 1.2 This specication is the SI companion to Specication C76. NOTE 1This specication is a manufacturing and purchase specication only, and does not include req
4、uirements for bedding, backll, or the relationship between eld load condition and the strength classication of pipe. However, experience has shown that the successful performance of this productdependsupontheproperselectionoftheclassofpipe,typeofbeddingandbackll,controlledmanufactureintheplant,andca
5、reandinstallation conforms to the construction specications. The owner of the reinforced concrete pipe specied herein is cautioned that he must correlate the eld requirements with the class of pipe specied and provide inspection at the construction site.
