Scope1.1 This specification covers glass fiber reinforced gypsum(GRG) composites having minimum properties and qualitys
3、uitable to allow the production of GRG parts for non-loadingbearing, thin section, ornamental shapes for architecturalembellishment of interior building construction.1.2 The values stated in either inch-pound units or SI(metric) are to be regarded separately as standard. Within thetext, the SI units

Materials and Manufacture4.1 Materials:4.1.1 Alpha Gypsum CementAlpha-calcium sulfatehemihydrate-plaster which is noncombustible, has a low waterdemand, neutral (pH) or low alkalinity, and a purity of not lessthan 90 % by weight of CaSO42H2O.4.1.2 “E” Glass F
10、iberChopped glass fiber strands orcontinuous strand mats of calcia-alumina silicate glasses con-forming to Specification D578.4.1.3 WaterPotable water.4.1.4 AdditivesIn accordance with the alpha gypsum ce-ment manufacturers specifications.4.2 Manufacturers Certification of Raw Materials:4.2.1 Alpha
