2、n refers to the requirements presented in ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 15-2013, Section 7.5.3, regarding Exception 3, definition of “portable-unit systems”. Background: It is unclear what is meant by “portable-unit systems” in Section 7.5.3 Exception 3 as no definition for that term is provided. Any refrige

3、ration system that does not have interconnecting refrigerant tubing leading to a remote condenser or condensing unit could be disconnected and moved. Interpretation: Consider any self-contained refrigeration system to be a “portable-unit system.” Question: Is this Interpretation correct? Answer: No Comment: The standard requires agency listing of portable-unit systems (e.g. UL Standard 471).
