Performance shall be evaluated by ground 1au:i:hing a sample of 36 M274 warheads. Twelve rockets sha

17、ll be coailitioned at -50F + 5“F, 12 rockets at 70F f 15“F, 12 rometc at 150F - 5F for a minimum period of 6 hours. A11 36 rockets shall be fired from an M260 or M261 launcher to impact at 6000 meters. If three or more warheads fail to function, the lot shall be rejected.“ PAGE 51 5.: Delete in its

20、5.4 Performance oriented packaging (POP). Packaging and packing as specified above shall be in accordance with the applicable packing method as specified in the 45 :-T. Further, it shall be demonstrated that the pack meets all OF cne POP test requirements in accordance with 49CFR. A POP te. shall be

21、 generated in accordance with DI-PACK- 81059 folJwing the tests. POP testing may be waived if an acceptable anal?!y in accordance with 49CFR, to another pack which has successful?y completed the testing, can be made. An analogy must also be do-.umented in accordance with DI-PACK-81059. When complete

22、d, either POP test report must be kept on file by the contractor and must also be submitted to the US Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center, Attn.: AMSTA-AR-AEP, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 (Note: IF a POP test is prepared against an acceptable analogy, the analogous POP te

23、st report must also be submitted to AMSTA-AR-AEP.). The POP marking to be applied to the exterior pack shall be as specified by the Government after review and acceptance of the submitted POP reports. All US manli-acturers shall make certain that the item is tested in accorda-:e with Part 173, Subpart C, Section 173.58(A) of 49CFR Parts 106-80 to assign the proper class and division for all explosi

25、ves (DiTision 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, and 1.4 explosives). Registration with the issociate Administrator of Hazardous Materials Safety is r-iquired in accordance with Part 173, Subpart C, Section 173.56(B) (1) or 173.56 (C) of 49 CFR so that markings in accord3ice with 172, Subpart D, Section 172.301 (A) and

26、 172.320 (A) are met. All foreign manufacturers shall make certain that the dangerous goods are tested in accordance with United Nations Committee of Experts on the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (as published in UN Document ST/SG/AC.10.1, latest revision, Recommendations on the Transport of Dang

27、erous Goods - Test and Criteria) to determine the proper division (Class 1-9 and division 1.1 - 1.6 for explosives). Registration for air and vessel transport is required for each manufacturing countrys National Competent Authority. The Hazard Classification Letter of Competent Authority is issued i

28、n accordance with part 2, para. 1.3 of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Technical Instructions and approves the hazard classification and compatibility group assignment and assigns the p-propriate shipping name to the dangerous goods. The prope-. packaging, marking and labeling i

29、s contained in the United ations Committee of Experts on the Transportation of Dangerous G)ds (as published in UN Document ST/SG/AC.10.1, latest revision, F,ecommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods). For air transport, the dangerous goods must comp:.y with the provisions of the Internation

30、al Air Transport At; lociation (IATA) Dangerous Goods Regulations and for vessel trani,)ort, the dangerous goods must comply with the provisions :f the Intergovernmental Maritime Organizations Interrlational Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG Code). These documents shall be forwarded to the US Army

31、 Armament Munitions and Chemical Command (AMCCOM), Attn.: AMSMC-PC and AMSMC-SFS (Rock Island, IL 51299-6000). 5.6 Ammunition data cards.
