SCOPE 1.1 This specification covers the quality assurance provisions and special requirements not covered by the drawings for thi

2、s type of warhead to be used in the assembly of the 2.75 Inch Rocket practice round. 2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS 2.1 The following documents of the issue in effect on date of invitation for bids, or request for proposals, form a part of this specification to the extent specified herein. Materials and parts shall be in accor- dance wf.th applicable drawings and specifications. 3.2 Metal Parts. The metal parts shall be free from mater

5、ial defects, including all surface imperfections and all internal defects resulting from flaws or lack of soundne-ss i.n the material, or resulting from improper proce.ssing of the material into the finished component. 3.2.1 Surface 1mper.fe.ctions. Surface i.mperfections, include pits, seams, laps,

6、 tears, cracks, scale., bli.sters, cold shuts and other defects of similar type. 3.2.2 Internal Surface Defe-cts. Internal defe.cts include laminations, segregations, internal cracks, inclusions and other defects of similar type. 3.4 First Article 1n.spe.ction. This specificatTon makes provisions fo

7、r first article Inspectfon. Requirements for the submission of first article samples by the contractor shall be as specified in the contract. 3.5 Workmanship. All parts shall be fahricated 8nd finished in a thorough, -workmanlike manne-r. .They shall be -free of burrs, chi.ps, sh.arp edges, cracks,

8、unhlended radii, surface defects, metal shavings, dirt, grease, rust, corrosion products and other foreign matter. The cleaning method used shall not be injuri.ous to any. part, no? shall the parts be contaminated by- the cleaning agent. All req.ui.red markings shall be neat and sharply defined. Kno

9、wn I.tem defects shall not be submitted with. the lot, 4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for -Inspection and Standard .Quali.ty .A-ssurarice. Prvisions. The following types of inspection.shal1 be conducted on this item. a. First Arti

11、cle Inspection b. Quality Conformance Inspection 4.3 First Article Inspection 4.3.1 Submission. The contractor shall submit a first article sample as designated by the Contracting Officer for evaluation in accordance, with provisions of 4.3.2. The first article sample shall consist of the following

Inspection lots sha

15、ll comply with the lot formation provisions.of MIL-A-48078 (PA). 4.4.2 Examination. See MIL-A-48078 (PA). a. Sampling Plans. Unless otherwise specified in the Classification of Defects and Test Tables, sampling plans for Major and Minor Defects shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-105, Inspection Lev

None defined. 4.4.4 Inspection Equipment. The inspection equipment required to
