The chemical composition shall be the reauirements, as specified, in tables II- and III when-tested in accordance wich 4.6.2.1; 3.1.2.1 Check analysis may be
18、 waived by the Government when it can be determined that the tube is produced from a heat of steel that is identical to that supplied on 8. previous lot and found acceptable. 3.2 Mechanical properties.- When mechanical properties are required, they shall be negotiated between the supplier and the pr
19、ocuring agency. 3.2.1 Tensile requirements.- When specified in the contract or order the tube shall meet the tensile requirements as specified by the procuring agency when tested in accordance with 4.6.2.2.1. 3.2.2 Hardness requirements.- When specified inthe contract or order the tube shall meet th
20、e hardness requirements specified by the procuring agency when tested in accordance with 4.6.2.2.2. 3.3 plier Dimensions and tolerances.- Dimensions shall be as specifieh in the sup- invitation for bids, contract or order or as agreed upon between the and procuring agency (see 6.2) * 3.3.1 Cross-sec
21、tional dimensions.- Cross-sectional dimensions, including wall thicknesses, shall be as specified in the invitation for bids, contract or order. 3.3.2 Size, convexity or concavity, and wail thickness.- The tolerances for outside dimensions convexity or concavity, and wall thickness, of square and re
22、ctangular tube, seamless and butt-welded (types I and III, conditions CD and CDSR) shall be in accordance with table IV, and for electric resistance welded and fusion welded tube (type II, conditions W and WSR) shall be in accordance with table V. The wall thickness tolerances shall not apply at the
