7、 REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Material.-Materials shall be in accordance with 3.2 Metal parts components.-The metal parts components applicable drawings and specifications. shall comply with all requirements specified on applicable drawings and with all requirements specified in applicable spec i fi cat i ons .

8、 3.3 Hydrostatic test.-The primer tubing shall withstand the application of a minimum (min.) hydrostatic pressure with- out rupture or indication of flaws, as evidenced by leaks, and without permanent deformation beyond drawing requirements, when tested as specified in 4.5.1 (see 6.4). sharp edges,

Quality Conformance Inspection 4.3 First article inspection 4.3.1 Submission.-The contractor shall submit a firs

13、t article sample as designated by the Contracting Officer. The first article sample shall consist of ten (10) complete sets of parts (.e., ten (10) each of every component). The first article sample shall be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of 4.3.2 and 4.3.3. 4.3.2 Inspections to be perf

14、ormed.-See MIL-A-48078 and Table I specified herein. 4.3.3 Rejection.-See MIL-A-48078. 4.4 Quality conformance inspection 4.4.1 Inspection lot formation.-Inspection lots shall comply with lot provisions of MIL-A-48078. 4.4.2 Examination.-Unless otherwise specified in the classifcation of defects and

15、 test tables, sampling plans for major and minor defects shall be in accordance with MLL-STD-105, Inspection Level II. 20、AR) 4.4.3 Testing.-Testing is described in the First Article and Qual.ity Conformance Inspection tables. 4.4.4 Inspection equipment.-The inspection equipment required to perform the inspections and tests prescribed in this specification is identified in the Paragraph Reference/ Inspection Method col

21、umn in the tables starting with paragraph 4.4.2.1, and the test method paragraphs (see 4.5). The contractor shall submit for approval, inspection equipment designs in accordance with the terms oaf the contract. See Section 6 of MIL-A-48078, and Section 6.3 herein. 4.5 Test methods and procedures 4.5

22、.1 Hydrostatic test.-Prior to machining, the primer tubing shal-not less than five seconds at the minimum hydrostatic pressure as calculated by the following formula: p = 1.8 St D Where: P = tests pressure ,n pounds per square inch (ps S = minimum specified yield strength, psi t = specified minimum

24、d in the specification referenced thereon. 5. PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY 5.1 Packaging, p acking and marking.-The parts shall be packaged, packed and marked in accordance with MIL-STD-1169. NOTES 6. - 6.1 Intended use.-The components covered by this specification are intended for use in the M83 electr

25、ic primer (alternate). 26、pection equipment designs for approval - (See MIL-A-48018) .-Submit equipment designs as required, to Commander, ARRADCOM, ATTN: DRDAR-QAR-I, Dover, New Jersey 07801. 6.4 Hydrostatic test.-If the primer tubing procured for the bodies manufactured in accordance with this specification has been previously subjected to the hydrostatic test specified in this specification, a second hydrostatic test will not be required.
