QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 General quality assurance provisions.-Unless otherwise specified in.the contract or purchase order, the supplier is . responsible for the performance ofall inspection requirements as specified herein. Except as

7、otherwise specified, the supplier may utilize his own facilitles or any commercial laboratory acceptable to the Government. The Government reserve8 the right to perform any of the inspections se forth in the.spe-cification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services S

8、tandard MIL-STD-109 in order to define terms used herein. The . conform to prescribed requirements. Reference shall be made to provisions of Specification MIL-A-2550 shall apply. . 9、 permitted without license from IHS-,-,-4.1.1 Contractor Inspection system.-The contractor shall provide and maintain an effective inspectbon aystem in compliance with the requirements of Specifiction HiL-1-45208. The contractorle quality assurance system shall contain 8 crocedure for the reporting

10、of critical defectives found during the cowse of his inspection and during inspection by the Government. Any critical defect encountered, unless annotated by an asterisk (*) to the right -of the characteristic code number (sea S,Z), will be reported within 48 hours. critical defects annotated by an

11、asterisk wlll be furnished. The agencies to whom the reports will be furnished are identified in paragraph 6.6. The reports shall contain, as a minimum, the following informations A monthly surmnnry report covering those a, Contractor and contract number. b. C. Characteristic cod number. d. Lot or s

12、erial number. e. Number of defectives found. f. g. Corrective action taken or recomended. When the Number and revision date of specification. Assignable cduse or analysis of occurrence. corrective action is beyond the control of the contractor or the scope of the contract, the report shall contain t

22、tent of tho powder tested exceeds 0.7 percent, the lot of primers shall be rejected. *Since black powder is hjgroscopic, it is advisable to place the powder In a dry, air-tight container immediately upon removal, and to run the determination as soon a8 possible thereafter. 6.6. Critical defect repor

23、t 6.6.1 Submission of critical defect reports.-For U. S. Army Mu?iticns Comand procuromcnt, ORC copy of each critical defect report will be fisrnished the cognizant Government inspection agency; the Amy Awnunition Procurement and Supply Agency, ATTN: SMUAP-RO; Picatinny Arsenal, ATTN: SMUPA-ND. 6.6.
