REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Material. - Materials shall be in accordance with the applicable drawings and specifications. 3.2 Assembly, - The assembly shall comply with all requirements specified on Drawing (dwg. ) 9287745 and all

3、associated drawings and with all requirements specified in applicable specifications. 3.3 Workmanshi . - All parts and assemblies shall be fabricatedded in a thorough workmanlike manner. They shall be free of burrs, chips, sharp edges, cracks, unblended radii, surface defects, dirt, grease, rust, co

4、r- rosion products, and other foreign matter. The cleaning agent or method used shall not be injurious to any part, nor shall the part be contaminated by the cleaning agents. 4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for insqction and standard quality assurance provisions. - Unless oL erwse

5、 specirieu herein or in the contract, the provisions of MIL-A-48078 shall apply and are hereby made a part of this detail specification. 4.2 Classification of inspection, - The following type of inspection shall be conducted on this item: a, First Article Inspection bo Quality Conformance Inspection

6、 I 4,3 First article inspection ! 4.3.1 Submission. - The contractor shall submit a first article sample (Sect 6.2b) as designated by the Contracting Officer. The first article sample shall consist of ten (10) complete sets of parts and ten (10) assemblies. The first article shall be evaluated in ac

8、-A-48078). 4.4 Quality conformance inspection 4.4,i Inspection lot formation. - Inspection lots shall comply with the lot formation provisions of MIL-A-48078. 4.4.2 Examination. - (See MIL-A-48078) Unless otherwise specified in the classification of defects and test tables, sampling plans for major

(See dwg, 9287745) - Major A dePect. - Ten (10) assemblies shall be randomly selected from each lot and tested for the specified requirement-in accordance with 4,5.1. The lot shall be rejected if one (1) or mo

11、re assemblies are classed defective (Destructive Test) . 4.4.3.2 Spindle Hardness Test, (See dwg, 9287745) - Major A defect. - Ten (10) spindles shall be randomly selected from each heat treat lot and tested for the specified require- ment in accordance wikh 4.5.2. one (1) or more samples are classe

12、d defective (Non-destructive Test). The lot shall be rejected if 4.4.3.3 Sprinp, Spring Rate Test. (See Dwg. 9287745) - Major B defect. - Ten (10) springs-shall be randomly selected from each heat treat lot and tested for the specified require- ments in accordance with 4.5.3. The lot shall be reject

13、ed if one (1) or more samples are classed defective (Non-destructive Test). 4.4.4 Inspection equipment o - The inspection equipment , required to perform the mspectfons and tests prescribed in this specification is identified in the Paragraph Reference/ Inspection Method column in the tables startin

14、g with 4.4.201, I and the test method paragraphs (see 4.5). The contractor shall submit for approval, inspection equipment designs in accordance with the terms of the contract. See Section 6 of MIL-A-48078,- and section 6.3 herein. 4.5 Test method and procedures L)! 4,s.i Lanyard Assembly Pull Test,
