The paint for =tal surfaces shall conform to type II, camouflage gree.n 383 of MIL-C-46168, or black as spe

13、cified on the applicable drawings. 3.3.3 Wead, rolvester. Thread shall conform to type I, class 1, cub-class B, dyed shade S-1 (CA No. 66022) of V-T-285. Te dyed thread shall show fastness to weathering equal to or better than the standard shade sample (see 6.6). Thread sizes shall be as follcws: Fo

Design and construction for the kitchen shall be as specified he

Prior to assigning any welder to structual welding on kitchens to be furnished under this specification, the contractor shall provide the contracting officer or his authorized representative with the namec of the welders t

17、o be employed in the work, together with certification (see 4.1.3) that each of these welders has passed qualification tests as prescribed by either of the following codes for the type of welding operation to be performed. a. All stitching shall conform to type 301 or 401 of FED-751 with 5 to 7 stitches p

Holes punched to receive gronunets shall be snialler than the outside diameter of the grammet barrel so that the barrel must be forced through the hole. cutting the

The length of the slide fastener chain shall be such that after the slide fastener is sewed on, the tape shall not be puckered and the slider shall operate

24、freely. 3.4.6 Electrical. nie electrical chcuits shall maintain continuity from end to end without evidence of internal or external shorts during all operating conditions. All lights shall operate in accordance with requirements specified on the applicable wiring diagram and assembly drawings. 3.4.7

The cooking racklframe shall cupport the griddle without any binding and it shall provide sufficient clearance in the front with the ixulier unit. 3.4.19 Drawers and doors. All drawers and doors shall have latches that engage and dicengag

35、e under light pressure (showing correct alignment of latch), opening and closing without binding, and no loose components. joints and seams shall be sealed. 37、ion of the kitchen during erection. 3.4.21 Floor mat. The floor mat shall be in accordance with the awlicable drawing and shall not contain any tears or holes. 3.5 Finish. 3.5.1 Metal surface preparation. Aluminum alloy curfaces other than those specified in 3.5.3 shall have a chdcal conversion coat

38、ing in accordane with class lA of Mi=-5541. oil, dirt, rust and other foreign matter. Metals other than aluminum shall be free of grease, 3.5.2 Treatment and minting. The portions of the kitchen trailer to be painted shall be cleaned, treated and painted in accordance with type F or type G of MIM-70

39、4. Painting shall be as specified in 3.3.2. The word ilCARCi with the month and year of coating application shall be stenciled in 1 inch high block letters using lusterless black paint conforming to type II of MIM-46168 and shall be located near the identification plate. 3.5.3 Anodic maths. camponen

40、tc and assemblies requiring anodizing, as specified on the applicable drawings, shall conform to type i, class i of . MIGA-8625. Dyed anodic coatings shall conform to type I, class 2 of MIGA-8625 with color similar to camouflage Green 383 of MI=-46168 (see 6.8). Corner roof cupport posts and threade

41、d portions of fabric Cupport poles shall be anodized in accordance with type III, class 1 coatings of MIL-A-8625 with a minimum coating thickness of 2.0 mils, unsealed. Griddle surface shall be anodized in accordane with type III, class 1 coatings of MIL-A-8625 with a minimum thickness of 2.0 mils,

42、unsealed using the Sanford process or equal. 3.6 Performance. 3.6.1 Over road. The kitchen, in the travel configuration, shall travel 5 miles on paved roads at up to 50 mph, 5 miles on gravel roads at 30 mph, 5 miles on level cross-country roads at 5 mph, and 5 miles on hilly cross13owltTy roads at
