PAGE 18 . 3.8, add: “Spark plugs conforming to MS35909-1 shall be used during the production control test. The vent lines shall be disconnected from the ignitor and coupled to

13、gether through a junction block prior to the start of the test. The ignitor shall be vented to the atmosphere during the entire control test. After completion of the control test, the vent lines shall be connected to the ignitor.“ Add new paragraph: “3.8.1.1 Required adjustments and checks. During t

14、he 50-hour control test the following checks and adjustments shall be made: “a. Initial checks (after break-in run) : (1) (2) (3) Check valve lash and record in test log. (4) Check timing at 550 rpm and record in test log. Check dwell angle and record in test log. Check idle for 650 rpm and record i

15、n test log. b. 25-Hour check point: (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) 50-Ilour check point (prior to power check run): Check timing at 550 rpm, set as required and record in test log. Check dwell angle, set as required and record in test log. Check valve lash, set as required and record in test log. Check spark p
