6、e. 2. A mock forcer may be used to bring up the shield and ridge line of the wings 3. Attaching device shall be prong and flat ball type clutch. For Dash -1, three prongs shall be located on a 1-5/8 inch f 1/64 inch diameter circle. For Dash -2, three prongs shall be located on a 1-1/8 inch f 1/64 i

7、nch diameter circle. For both Dash -1 and -2 badges, the prongs shall be spaced 120 degrees apart with the top prong located on the vertical center line at the top of the badge. 4. The device shall be attached to the base by means of a screw post and Type A back plate as shown on TIOH drawing number

8、 4-4-89. The screw post shall be made from any type brass. The back plate shall be made from any type of 1/4 inch hard brass. The screw post shall be 0.140 inch f 0.005 inch long and shall be hard soldered or fused to the device in a location to correctly position the device on the base. The base sh

9、all have a 0.130 inch f 0.003 inch square hole cut through and centered on the base. 5. Enameled areas shall be as indicated. The color shall conform to the TIOH chip numbers listed below. COLOR CHIP NUMBER Red 1 Green Blue White 12 18 28 6. Epoxy resin (stoning epoxy) may be used in lieu of hard en

10、amel at the option of the manufacturer. 7. The area around the eagles head and the arrow heads shall be pierced for Dash -1 and -2 badges. 8. The shield for Dash -1 has 13 stripes; the shield for Dash -2 has 9 stripes. The stripes for both shields shall be enameled alternating white and red, beginni

At the option of the manufacturer for commercial sale only, the device for Dash -1 and Dash -2 badges may be manufactured using 22 Karat

12、 Gold Plate with a Mirror-like Polish and Nickel Underplating which shall match TIOH Metal Finish Chip Number 9.
