2、Defense. 1. SCOPE 1.1 2, APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS This specification covers one type of disperser. 2.1 Government documents. All components of the disperser shall conform to the specifications and drawings listed on Drawing 116-6-166 and on the subsidiary drawings. 3.2 Assembl . The disperser shall be assem

7、bled as shown on Drawing u6-6-1 + 3.3 Functioning and leakage (see 6.3) . 3.3.1 hod IC-1 or IC-3. (d) Hood, gas mask. The hood shall be laid face up with bottom edges aligned and straps folded over the hood. Two hoos alternately reversed shall be placed in a paperboard folding box conforming to PPP-

8、B-566 and packaged in accordance with method IC-2. (e) Straps, webbinank and oher accessories and spare parls, preserved and packaged as specified in 5.2, shall be packed in a box conforming to Class 2, style 7, type 3 load of PPP-B-621. The disperser assembly shall be firmly secured to the skid bas

The spare parts and accessories (5.2.l,2) shall be firdy blocked and braced in the box to prevent free movement, All wood cornponents of the box shall be preservative treated by immersing in type II, composition A of TT-W-572 for a minimum period of 3 minutes. the appendix to PPP-B-. Inside dimen

10、sions of the box shall be approximately 37 by 24-1/4 by 46-1/2 inches in length, width and depth respectively. The box shall be closed and strapped in accordance with Strapping shall conform to Class B of 9s-781. 5.3.1.2 Pilot pack. Unless otherwise specified (see 6.2) a pilot pack shall be prepared

11、 in accordance with 5.3,l.l and tested in accord- ance with the applicable rough handling tests as specified in MILP-116. Tne tested pilot pack shall then be submitted to determine compliance with the packing requirements of this specification, 5.3.2 Level B. The disperser and components, packaged a

12、s specified in $,2, shall be packed as specified in 5.3.1 excep% that domestic type or class containers and coated finish strapping shall be used.
