6、Equipment Tabulation (Copies of specifications, stanciarcls, drawings and publications required by suppliers in connection with specipic procurement functions should be obtained from the procuring activity or as directed by the contracting officer.) 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Asserab1y.-The detonator assem
7、bly shall comply with all requirements specified on Drawing (dwg.) 9234579 and with all requirements specified in applicable specifications. explosives at the loading station at the tine of loading the detonators shall not exceed the percentage specified in Table I when tested as specified in 4.4.1.

10、ture, cold temperature anci water irmiersiorir attempt in not less than thiity (30) nor more than seventy (70) milliseconds when tested as specified in 4.Q.2.1. 3.3.2 Output.-The detonatoia assembly shall fire on the first attempt under an applied energy of sixteen (16) inch ounces maximum (max.) an
11、d shall make a 0.567 Inch minimuni (min.) diameter perforation in a 0.131 inch min. thick lead disc with a 1/8 inch max. hole in its center when tested as specified in 4.4.2. and loaded in a thorough, workmanlike rnanrier. of burrs, chips, sharp edges, cracks, surface defects, dirt, grease, rust, co
12、rrosion products and other foreign matter. The cleaning method used shall not be injurious to any part nor shall the parts be contaminated by the cleaning agent. be neat; and sharply defined. 3.5 First article inspection.-This specification makes provisions for first article inspection. submission o

Substantiation of the agents authority will not be required with subsequent certificates unless, during the course Of the contract, this authority is vested in another agent of the certifying organization. 4.2 First article inspection 4.2.1 Submission.-The contractor s
22、hall submit a first article sample as designated by the contracting officer for evaluation as specified herein. The first article shall consist of inert parts (see 4.2.2) and loaded detonators (see 4.2.3) which have been produced by the contractor or furnished by a supplier and which have been manuf
23、actured using the same pro- duction processes, procedures and equipment which will be used in fulfilling the contract. All parts and materials, shall be - obtained from the same source of supply as will be used in regular production. Prior to submission, the contractor shall inspect the sample to th
24、e degree necessary to assure that it conforms to the requirements of the contract and he shall submit a record of this inspection with the sample, including certificates Of conformance of materials.
