In the event of a conflict between the text of this document and the references cited herein, the text of this documen

18、t takes precedence, regulations unless a specific exemption has been obtained. Nothing in this document, however, supersedes applicable laws and 3, REQUIREMENTS 3.1 First article. When specified (see 6,2), a sample shall be subjected to first article inspection (see 6,3), in accordance with 4.3. and

Use commercial fabric softener to whiten and prevent clinging. Tumble dry using “Permanent Press“ cycle (do not overload) and remove

27、 immediately from dryer. If automatic dryer is not available, shape and hang to air dry. If needed, touch up any wrinkled areas with a cool-warm iron. Wash separately from colored garments using Hand Wash detergent. Rinse thoroughly. Shape and hang to air dry. Wash separately from colored garments i

The identification (class 1) and instruction (class 3) labels may be combined into one label. The combination label shall confor

29、m to class 15. 3.3.6 Slide fastener. The slide fastener shall be polyester continuous monofilament (spiral or serpebtine) type I, style 3, size LS in accordance with V-F-106 requirements. The length shall be 24 inches for all sizes. The color of the tape shall be white with matching chain, slider, p

30、ull, and stops. Also, continuous chain application may be used in lieu of preassembled fasteners, provided bottom and top stops are applied. either bartack or double-sewn stitching over fastener tape turn-in. Top stops may be securely sewn using 3.3.7 Safety pins. The safety pins used for fastening

31、the buttons to the belt shall conform to class 2, size 1 of FF-P-416. 3.3.8 Snap fasteners. The snap fasteners for the front opening shall be round or square, sew-on type with rolled edges, size O, 00, or 2-0, nickel plated, brass, and shall be rust and corrosion resistant (see 4.4.1.1). 3.3.9 Butto

The construction shall conform in all respects to the requirements specified in table II and herein.

43、 Figure 1 is furnished solely for guidance and information. Should variation from the written document appear in figure 1, the document shall govern. 3.7.1 Stitches, seams, and stitching. All stitches, seams, and stitching shall conform to FED-STD-751. The type of seam, stitching, and stitches per i

44、nch shall be as specified in table II. Seam allowances shall be maintained with seams sewn so that no raw edges, run-Offs, pleats, puckers, or open seams will occur (see 6.5). When two or more methods of seams or stitches are given for the same operation, any one may be used. When stitch type 401 is

45、 used, the looper (under thread) shall be on the inside of the dress. Thread tension shall be maintained so that no tight or loose tension will result (see 6.5). Overedge stitching shall be 3/16 to 1/4 inch wide. Raise stitching shall be 1/16 to 3/32 inch from the joining seam, unless otherwise spec
