QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for Inspection and Standard Quality Assurance Provisions.-Unless otherwise specified herein or in the contract, the provisions of MIL-A-48078 shall apply and are here- by m

17、ade a part of this detail specification. 4.2 Quality Conformance Inspection. 4.2.1 Inspection Lot Formation.- Inspection lots shall com- ply with the lot formation provision of MIL-A-48078. In addition. -. inspection lots of Cartridge, 105MM Smoke WP, M60A2 (Mod.) shall contain: a. Cartridge cases o

18、f one lot interfix number from one manufacturer. b. Filled projectiles of one lot interfix number from one manufacturer. c. Propelling charges from not more than one lot from one manufacturer. d. 36、st shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-414, Section B, Part I Table B1, Code letter F and AQL 1.5 percent. 4.2.3.2 Proving ground. (See 6.51. 4.2.3.2.1 Muzzle veloc&tiy 4.2.3.2.1.1 Beginning with the first lot groduce and con- tinuing until three consecutive lots have complied Witkithe ap- plicable

In addition, if the standard deviation of the muzzle velocity multiplied by the factor 0.75 exceeds the applicable lot requirement, the lot shal.1 be rejecte

38、d. criteria of 4.2.3.2.1.1, the sampling plan shall be in accord- ance with MIL-STD-414, Section B, Table B-3, Code letter P and AQL of 1.0 percent. In addition, if the standard deviation of muzzle velocity multiplied by the factor 0.65 exceeds the ap- plicable lot requirement, the lot shall be reje

39、cted. of the sample projectiles used in any of the tests fail to com- ply with the applicable requirements, the lot shall be rejected. 4.2.3.1.2 After the three consecutive lots have met the 4.2.3.2.2 Premature bursts and security of parts. 43、 ground.-These tests shall be conducted at a Government proving ground in accordance with the applicable Ac- ceptance Test Procedure. The sample cartridges shall be fired with standard propelling charges in Mi37 Howitzer. Observation shall be made for conformance to all requirements. (See 65) shall

44、be fired with the standard charge for this test and observed for velocity and functioning. 4.3.2.1 Muzzle velocity and function.-The sample cartridges tinuing until three consecutive lots have complied with the ap- plicable requirements, fifteen sample cartridges shall be randomly selected from each

45、 lot for this test. If any projectile fails to comply with the requirements, the lot shall be rejected. teria of 4,2.3.2.4.1, five sample cartridges shall be randomly selected from each lot for this test. If any projectile fails to comply with the requirements, the lot shall be rejected, considers t

Inspection Equipment-.The inspecti.on equipment required to perform the examinations and tests prescribed herein is described i

47、n the “paragraph reference/inspection method“ column in the tables starting with paragraph 4.2.2.1. The contractor shall submit for approval inspection equipment designs in accordance with the terms of contract. See Section 6 of MIL-A-4807.8 and 6.3 herein. 4.2.3.2.4.2 After three consecutive lots h
