This specification sheet covers a Female by External Pipe Thread Type VII, coupling half. 2. CLASSIFICATION. The size of the coupling halves is designated in table I.

The following characteristics differ from those listed i

7、n the latest issue of A-A-59326. 3.1 Accessories. Gaskets and pull rings as specified in the latest issue of A-A-59326 shall be included with the coupling half. 3.2 Hydrostatic test pressure. The inch through 4-inch coupling halves shall withstand a hydrostatic test pressure of 300 pounds per square

8、 inch gage (psig). The coupling half shall be supplied with pull rings and gasket. 3.3 Threads. External threads of the coupling half shall conform to National Tapered Pipe Thread (NPT) per ANSI/ASME B1.20.1. 4. NOTES 4.1 Part Identification Number (PIN). The following PIN procedure is for governmen

9、t purposes and does not constitute a requirement for the contractor. This example describes a part numbering system for latest issue of specification sheet A-A-59326/7. AA59326/7-4-SS-1; where /7 indicates a Female by External Pipe Thread coupling half, -4 indicates a 1 - inch nominal size, -SS indi

10、cates stainless steel body and -1 indicates a style 1 coupling. 11、 couplings do not require the incorporation of a positive locking mechanism to lock the cam arms in the closed position but the cam arms shall stay in the closed position when the coupling halves are assembled. Style 2 - Style 2 couplings shall incorporate a positive locking mechanism to lock the ca

12、m arms in the closed position when the coupling halves are assembled. The locking mechanism shall be manually released (the release doesnt have to stay in the released position) before the cam arms can be moved to the open position.
