2、 replacement for MS53007D, which is canceled. ABSTRACT This CID covers requirements for an identification plate used on military trailers to identify the service/emergency air brake lines. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS a. Material. Material shall be as specified in figure 1. The use of recovered material

3、made in compliance with regulatory requirements is acceptable providing that all requirements of this CID are met (13ee note d) . b. Design and construction. Identification plates shall be constructed to the form and dimensions specified in figure 1. c. Identification and marking. Unless otherwise s

4、pecified (see note a), identification and marking shall be permanent and 1eg:Lble and shall include, as a minimum, the manufacturers CAGE code and the part identification number (PIN) A52483-1. Items with known defects shall not be submitted for Government acceptance. such conformance prior to the first delivery and thereafter as may be otherwise provided for under the provisions of the contract. PRESERVATION, PACKAGING, PACKING, LABELING, AND MARKIIiJG The Government r

10、eserves the r.ight to require proof of Preservation, packaging, packing, labeling, and marking shall be as specified in the contract or order (see note a). 11、ition documents must specify the following: 1. Title, number, revision letter, and date of this CID. 2. Identification and marking if other than as specified. 3. Selection of applicable level and packaging requirements. b. Cross-reference data. Identification plates conforming to this CID are interc

12、hangeable/substitutable with plates conforming to MS53007D. c. International agreement. All provisions of this CID are the subject of International Standardization Agreement NATO STANAG 2604 and QSTAG 310. When amendment revision, or cancellation of this CID is proposed that will modify the internat

13、ional agreement concerned, the preparing activity will take appropriate action through international standardization channels, including departmental standardization offices, to change the agreement or make other appropriate accommodations. d.
