Chipboard shall be prepared by processingmateriale to Ineure compliance with the requirements of thisdescription. The chipboard shall be plain and eh

3、all not becoated or lined. Two or more plies can be combined.Form and size. Chipboard shall be furnished in sheet formwhich shall be cut to the eize specified. The tolerance forthe width and length dimensions shall be minue zero and plus6.35 mm (1/4 inch). Unless otherwise epecified, the sizeshall b

4、e one of the followina: 21.59 cm X 27.94 cm (8-1/2” X11”); 25.4 cm X 28.58 cm (lO; X 11-1/4”); 66.04 cm x“96.52(26” X 3S”); 121.92 cm X 121.92 cm (48” X 48”)Color. Chipboard shall be free fom surface lumps, clipindentations, wrinkles, cracke, breaks, blows, blisters,split edges, soil and mechanical imperfections or any otherdefects which may impair its serviceability or appe

9、arance.2. RECOVERED MATERIALSThe contractor must certify that the product offered shallinclude a minimum of 80 % post-consumer recovered material asdefined in 40 CPR, Part 250. The Government reserves the rightto require proof of such conformance prior to first delivery andthereafter as may be other

10、wise provided for under the provisionsof the contract.3. QLJALI= ASSURANCEResponsibility for Inspection - Unless otherwise specified in thecontract or purchase order, the eupplier Is responsible for theperformance of all Inspection requirements as specified herein.Except as otherwise specified, the

11、supplier may utillze his ownfacilities or any commercial laboratory acceptable to.thegovernment. The Government reserves the right to perform any ofthe inspections set forth herein, where such Inspections aredeemed necessary to assure that supplies and services conform tothe prescribed requir-ents.E
