REQUIREMENTS 3.1 (see 4.4 and 6.2).

The major components of the survival kit containers shall be as shown on figure 1 and shall include the parachute deploynent sensing cable assembly (see 3.6.5) that is listed but not shom on figure 3

18、. 3.3 Selection of specifications and standards. Specifications and standards for necessary commodities and services not specified herein shall be selected in accordance with MIL-STD-143. 3.4 where magnetic materials offer definite advantages. Naterials that are not susceptible to fungus attack shal

19、l be used to the grentest cxtent practicable. Materials that are susceptible to fungus at.tack, if used, shall be treated with a fungicidal agent. 24、1 - Dissimilar metals. Unless suitably protected against electrolytic corrosion, dissimilar metals shall not be used in intimate contact with each other. Dissimilar metals are defined in MIL-STD-889. Metals. Metals shall be corrosion resistant or suitably treated to 3.4.2 Nonmetallic materials. The

If materials that are subject to deterioration when exposed to climatic and environmental conditions likely to occur during service usage are used in the

29、construction of the basic container, the materials shall be protected against such.deterioration in a manner that will not in any way prevent compliance with the performance requirements of this specificat.ion. The use of any protective coating that will crack, chip, or scale with age or extreme cli

Unless otherwise specified herein, the CNU-lSO/P survival kit container shall be designed and constructed in accordance with U.S.S. Chemicals Div Drawing RP 785-00 and the applicable detail drawings referenced thereon.

34、The parachute support (see item 8 of figure 1) shall conform to MIL-S-83863. The main differences in the survival kit containers are in the cushions (see 3.6.6) and in the oxygen system provisions. The oxygen system provisions are applicable to the CNU-l30/P survival kit container only and consist o

35、f a mounting plate, a disconnect release cable, support pads, and disconnect cutouts for the installation of a drop-in oxygen system that conforms to MIL-0-27335. 3.5.1 container. Operation. The following operations shall be allowed by the survival kit (a) The manual override selector lever of the a
