Applicable Documents: Standards: FED-STD-75 1 Stitches, Seams and Stitching FED-STD-595 Color, Requirements for individual color chips, 3x5 MIL-STD- 130 Identification marking of U.S. Military property Drawings : 99A-RI.I-P, Holster, Hip, Pistol 9MM. ggA-LH-P, Holster, iiip,

Drawings available froin Warner Robins, ALC/CREMS Robins AFB, GA 31096-5609 Salient Characteristics: The holster shall be capable of interface and fit with the government furnished gMM, M9 pistol. There shall not be excessive interference when insertng and withdarwing the pistol, nor wi

4、ll they cause functioning of any of the pistol controls. - Y- The holster shall comply with the requirements as defined in the drawings and as called out in the contract or order. The holster shall be manu- factured from leather, thread, and required hardware (snaps/rivets). All stitching shall canp

5、ly with the requirements set forth in FED-STD-751, stitch type 301, 5 to 7 stitches per inch. The finished holsters shall conform to the quality of product established by this documen

8、t and as called out in the contract or order. Repairs of Type 301 Stitching: - Repairs of type 301 stitching shall be as follows: a. vJhen thread breaks or bobbins run-outs occur during stitching, the stitching shall be repaired by restarting the stitching a minimum of 2 stitches back of the end of

9、stitching. b. Thread breaks or one or more consecutive skipped or run-off stitches noted during inspection of the item (in-process or end item) shall be repaired by overstitching. the defective area, continue a minimum of 2 stitches beyond the defective area onto the existing stitching, defective st
