In exceptional circumstances, howe

7、ver, the publication of a Technical Report of one of the following types may be proposed : - type 1, the subject is still under technical development requiring wider exposure ; - type 2, a Commission has collected data of a different kind from that which is normally published as a European Standard.

15、irn 04- 92 1 Scope and field of application This Technical Report sets out the main criteria for the guidance of the designer with regard to possible applications of the wire thread inserts defined in standards EN 2942, 2944 and EN 3542. It has been prepared in line with recommendations by the AECMA

16、X 8 Committee in respect of engine-related studies. 28、n. 3.2 Self-locking Maximum number of bolt removals without replacing the wire thread insert : - 5 times after operation at the maximum test temperature of the wire thread insert ; - 15 times at a temperature of 20 OC. 3.3 Insert hole 3.3.1 Location - Not to be used in a through threaded hole unless

29、 it is possible to check that the wire thread insert was not rotated when the bolt was fitted ; - The location of the wire thread inserts shall allow them to be fitted and removed with the tool defined in EN 2945. 3.3.2 Wall thickness For insertion in an item out of light alloy or titanium alloy, it

30、 is recommended that the wall thickness should be such as to allow the insertion of a threaded bush for repair purposes. The possibility of repair action shall be considered against individual cases when insertion is in an item out of steel (weight increase). 3 3.1 Fonction Caractristiques dutilisat

34、aisseur des parob Pour limplantation dans un article en alliage iger ou de titane, il est recommand de prvoir une paisseur de paroi suffisante pour limplantation dune douille filete dans le cas dune rparation. Cette possibilit de rparation est considrer cas par cas pour limplantation dans un article

36、es darf die Schraube - nach Betrieb bei maximaler Prftemperatur des Draht-Gewindeeinsatzes 5 mal, - bei einer Temperatur von 20 C 15 mal ausgebaut werden. 3.3 Einbauloch 3.3.1 Lage - Draht-Gewindeeinsatz nur dann in einem Durchgangsgewindeloch verwenden, wenn kontrolliert werden kann, da8 er sich be

37、im Einbau der Schraube nicht mitgedreht hat ; - Die Gewindeeinstze mssen so angeordnet sein, da8 sie mit dem in EN 2945 festgelegten Werkzeug ein- und ausgebaut werden knnen. 3.3.2 Wanddicke Erfolgt der Einbau in ein Teil aus Leichtmetall oder Titanlegierung, wird empfohlen, eine ausreichende Wanddi

38、cke vorzusehen, um die Reparatur mit einer Gewindebuchse zu ermglichen. Diese Reparaturmglichkeit ist fr den Einbau in ein Teil aus Stahl von Fall ZU Fall abzuschtzen (Erhhung der Masse). 40、d diameter. For wire thread inserts in Z10CN18-09, the nominal lengths are equal to 1.5 , 2 and 2,5 times the nominal major thread diameter. The necessary length of the wire thread insert depends on the shear strength of the surrounding material, which is equal to 0,58 times the ultimate tensile str

41、ength of the surrounding material at maximum operating temperature. Table 1 can be used as a guideline for the choice of the lengths, but the shear strength of the surrounding material shall not be inferior to the values indicated in this table. These lengths have been calculated using the following

42、 formula : H= Rr x S Rc x Il x D x 0,5 H = length of insert in mm, Rr = bolt ultimate tensile strength, S = bolt stress area, Rc = shear strength of surrounding material, D = mean pitch diameter of threaded hole, 0,5 = arbitrary coefficient which assumes that the surrounding material shears at the e

43、ffective diameter. Table 1 Note: For borderline cases the shear strength of the surrounding material to be considered shall correspond to the lowest value: - either the limit of the minimum proof strength of 0,2 %; - or the minimum tensile load leading to a creep of O, 1 % in 1 O0 h at operating tem
