4、s Constructeurs de Matriel Arospatial). It is published on green paper for the needs of AECMA-Members. It has been technically approved by the experts of the concerned Technical Committee following comment by the Member countries. Subsequent to the publication of this Prestandard, the technical cont
5、ent shall not be changed to an extent that interchangeability is affected, physically or functionally, without re-identification of the standard. After examination and signature of the AECMA Standard Checking Centre (NPS) and formal agreement of the Official Services of the Member countries it will
6、be submitted as a draft European Standard to CEN (European Committee for Standardization) for formal vote. It is the task of the Technical Committee to review their standards after 5 years. In this exceptional case, it was decided to publish the
8、 revised document as a pre-standard prEN 2032 Part 1, edition PI : 1990, for the following reasons: to allow traceability of information in both existing prENs and new or revised prENs (some refer to the designation system defined by prEN 2032: 1980, others will refer to the designation system defin
9、ed by prEN 2032-1, PI: 1990), making it necessary to keep prEN 2032: 1980 available until complete updating of existing documents, - to receive comments from users, during a 6 months period after publication of the pre-standard, in conformity with AECMA rules, principally concerning rules which do n
10、ot derive from a world- wide codification system, such as that of ALUMINUM ASSOCIATION, - the edition P2: 1991 has taken into account comments received during this period and thus has superseded edition PI : 1990 which has never been used in published AECMA pre-standards or standards. - the edition
11、P3: 1993 has taken into account comments received on edition P2: 1991, has brought in line AECMA rules for the designation of cast aluminium base materials with the rules defined by CEN/TCI 32 and thus has superseded edition P2: 1991, as no AECMA standard had been published using previous AECMA rule
12、s for those cast materials. the present draft edition P4: 1994 takes into account the difficulties raised by the working groups of C5 when implementing the edition P3 and gives: - - - - - some clarification for the principle of designation, a more precise definition for rules of designation of certa

19、tem, structure or powerplant. Alloying element: element other than base metal the mass content of which is expressed by means of a range. NOTE 1: The range is explicitly defined by the specified values for minimum and maximum limits of the mass content. - - Minor element: element in the chemical com
20、position of the metallic material the variation of mass content of which does not affect its typical characteristics. NOTE 2: The content for a minor element is only specified by the maximum value of the mass content. - Unalloyed metal: metal that contains no alloying elements and with a total impur
21、ity content less than 0,5 %. NOTE 3: For the applications of this standard, a so-called “commercially pure“ metal is not considered as unalloyed metal and its designation shall be chosen according to the same rules as those of the relevant metallic alloys. - Cast material: material resulting from th
22、e bulk solidification of a previouslv homogeneous liquid metal. - Cast + wrought material: material resulting from further solid state working of cast material. - Powder metallurgy material: material divided into solid particles at least in the first step of its solid state processing. Steel: iron b
23、ase material alloyed with carbon the content of which is generally lower than 2 %.
