Diagrammatic drawing This represents in simplified form, by means of symbols and terminal identities, etc., the inter-relation and/or position of parts, systems and their functions. It can be used for piping, electrical equipment, cables etc. and need not correspond t

Wiring should be provided with symbols, and equipment in simple representation with its symbol and term
13、inal identities. Printed circuit drawing A drawing prepared as a master for the production template. Exploded view Assembly drawing in deployed representation where the individual assembly units are represented so that they appear separately from each other but related by the use of their axes of as
14、sembly. U ndim ensioned r aw ing Representation on stable material of parts or assemblies at a precise scale, sufficient for definition, not necessarily unity. Dimensions are entered only in exceptional circumstances. The parts or assemblies represented are defined on the drawing. 1.14. Numerical co
15、ntrol drawing A drawing for numerical control (NC) represents the requirements imposed on a part from the aspect of production engineering to enable the part to be machined with the use of automatically controlled machine tools. 1.15. interchangeability drawing The drawing represents the dimensions
16、and tolerances concerning interchangeability of the mating features of an assembly or detail. 1.16. interface control drawing The interface control drawing .depicts physical and functional interface engineering requirements of an item which affects the design or operation of co- functioning items. 1
17、.17. Source control drawing The Source Control Drawing specifies a component supplied by an external source. Functional characteristics are indicated. 1.18. Retrofit drawing Representation of those items or actions required retrospectively to meet new or additional design requirements, in production

SEE, FORM AND PREPARATION OF ENGINEERING DRAW
21、INGS 2.1. Sizes and Layout of drawing sheets Pre-printed drawing sheets should conform to IS0 5457 in respect of their size and layout. Conventional drawing sheets shall be printed only on the reverse side. 2.2. Lettering Lettering of technical drawings shall correspond to a selection from IS0 3098/
22、1, and must be to microfilm requirements corresponding to IS0 6428. 2.3. “LE BLOCK AND INDICATiONS ON DRAWINGS 2.3.1. Minimum Indications on the Title Bock On each drawing the following features should appear : a) b) The identity of the company responsible for the drawings The drawing number and,she
23、et number must appear in the bottom right hand corner. This should be the prime reference number, repetition of this number is permitted for purposes of microfilming etc . where necessary The title (Ref. Para 3.2.) must appear in the space at the bottom right hand corner adjacent to the drawing numb
