22、fremde Hilfe zu nutzen, ist auch im hohen Alter und bei Behinderung das Ziel vie-ler Menschen. Zudem wird es aus volkswirtschaft-lichen und sozialen Grnden immer wichtiger, den Verbleib lterer und behinderter Menschen in Wohnungen ihres normalen Umfelds zu ermgli-chen, die Nutzung ihrer Wohnungen zu

23、 erleichtern und Selbststndigkeit im Alter und bei Behinde-rung zu erhalten. Diese Richtlinie ist das Ergebnis gemeinsamer Arbeit des Fachbereichs Anwendungsfelder der Automation“ der VDI/VDE-Gesellschaft Mess- und Automatisierungstechnik und des Fachbe-reichs Architektur“ der VDI-Gesellschaft Bauen

24、 und Gebudetechnik. Die Richtlinie VDI/VDE 6008 Blatt 3 ersetzt die bisherige Richtlinie VDI 6008 Blatt 1:2005-08 Barrierefreie und behindertengerechte Lebens-rume, Anforderungen an die Elektro- und Frder-technik“. Eine Neugliederung und berarbeitung wurden erforderlich, da neue technische Entwicklu

25、ngen verfgbar sind und sich die Anforderungen an barrierefreie Lebensrume erweitert haben. Ergn-zend zur DIN 18040 werden in der neu geglieder-ten Richtlinienreihe VDI 6008 detaillierte Anfor-derungen an die Barrierefreiheit einzelner gebu-detechnischer Anlagen gestellt. Die Ergnzungen zur Norm beha

26、ndeln auch weitergehende nutzer-spezifische Bedrfnisse von Menschen in jedem Alter ohne und mit jeglicher Mobilittseinschrn-kung oder Behinderung. Introduction It is the goal of many people to live independently and to use their surroundings mostly unaided, even in old

29、age and with a disability. It is also becoming more and more important for economic and social reasons to enable elderly and disabled people to stay in their normal neighbourhoods, simplify the use of their housing and maintain their general self-sufficiency. This standard has been cooperatively aut

30、hored by the Technical Division “Application Areas of Automation” of the VDI/VDE Society Measure-ment and Automatic Control and the Technical Division “Architecture” of the VDI Society Civil Engineering and Building Services. The standard VDI/VDE 6008 Part 3 will replace the outdated standard VDI 60

31、08 Part 1 (August 2005) titled “barrier-free and handicapped-accessible buildings requirements to be met by electrical installation and conveyor technology”. It has become necessary to restructure and revise the series of standards, since new technical devel-opments have become available and increas

32、ed requirements are placed on barrier-free life. Sup-plementing the standard DIN 18040, the newly structured series of standards VDI 6008 details requirements for the barrier-free accessibility of individual building installations. These supple-ments also deal with broader, user-specific needs of pe

33、ople of all ages with and without mobility limitations or disabilities. The series of standards VDI 6008 “Barrier-free buildings” consists of the following parts: Part 1 Requirements and fundamentals Part 1.1 Aspects of pictograms and marking (in preparation) Part 1.2 Personnel qualification and tra

36、VDI 6008 sind jeweils in Verbin-dung mit Blatt 1 anzuwenden. Blatt 3 gibt in zusammenfassender Form einen berblick zu den hauptschlich vorliegenden Be-drfnissen von Menschen und deren Anforderun-gen an die Elektrotechnik und Gebudeautomation. Fehlende oder unzureichende Anforderungs- und Ausfhrungsk

37、riterien in bestehenden Regelwerken fhren dazu, dass Gebude auch der Gebudebe-stand unzugnglich oder nur eingeschrnkt nutz-bar sind. Hufig knnen schon geringfgige bauli-che und technische Manahmen zur Nutzungser-leichterung fr alle Menschen fhren. Vorhandene technische Regeln fr den Bereich von Alte

38、n- und Pflegeheimen, Wohnungen und Einrichtungen fr alte, behinderte und kranke Menschen sowie eine Vielzahl bestehender Emp-fehlungen und Informationsschriften beteiligter Verbnde werden deshalb in dieser Richtlinienrei-he in einen bergreifenden Gesamtzusammenhang gebracht und vervollstndigt. Betro

39、ffene und Verbnde werden darber infor-miert, wie neue technische Lsungen den Erhalt einer selbststndigen, barrierefreien Lebensfhrung frdern knnen. Fr die Richtlinienreihe VDI 6008 gilt: Barrierefreiheit bedeutet, dass Liegenschaften und ihre Technische Gebudeausrstung von Menschen in jedem Alter, m

40、it und ohne Mobilittseinschrn-kung oder Behinderung betreten oder befahren und selbststndig sowie weitgehend ohne fremde Hilfe benutzt werden knnen und damit individuelle Po-tenziale zum selbststndigen Handeln nicht ein-schrnken. Das ist fr die Anforderungen an technische Pro-dukte und Lsungen insof

41、ern von groer Bedeu-tung, als damit der angesprochene Nutzerkreis er-heblich erweitert wird. Barrierefreiheit soll es allen Menschen, mit oder ohne Mobilittseinschrnkung oder Behinderung erleichtern, auch auerhalb ihres Wohnumfelds, Liegenschaften problemlos zu nut-zen. Der berholte Begriff des behi

42、ndertengerech-ten Bauens“ bercksichtigte hufig ausschlielich die baulichen Anforderungen von Rollstuhlfahrern. Mit zunehmendem Alter von Menschen und damit verbundenen Behinderungen und Einschrnkungen ndern sich deren Bedrfnisse an die Umgebung und ihre Ausstattung. Unter dem Gesichtspunkt, dass die

43、 Menschen derzeit viel lter werden und einen wachsenden Bevlkerungsanteil ausmachen, ist darber nachzudenken, wie es diesen lteren The individual subject-specific parts of the series of standards VDI 6008 are only applicable in con-junction with Part 1. Part 3 gives a summarised overview of the pres

44、ent essential needs of humans and the resulting re-quirements for electrical installation and building installation. Missing or insufficient requirements or design criteria are often the cause if buildings including existing buildings are inaccessible or of limited usability. Even minor construction

45、al and technical measures can frequently lead to a greater ease of use for all persons. This is why existing technical rules on retirement and nursing homes, on housing and facilities for the elderly, disabled or ill, and many existing rec-ommendations and white papers of competent as-sociations hav

46、e been evaluated and integrated in the overall context of this series of standards. Persons concerned and associations are given in-formation on how new solutions, in particular tech-nical ones, can help maintain a self-sufficient, bar-rier-free life. For the series of standards VDI 6008, the follow

47、ing applies: Barrier-free accessibility means that real estate properties and their building services can be entered by people of all ages and with any mobility limita-tion or disability and used independently and mostly without the aid of another person, which means that they do not put up any barr

48、iers to the individuals potential for autonomy. This definition is of major importance for the de-mands placed on technical products and solutions, since it considerably widens the group of users con-cerned. Barrier-free accessibility should enable all persons, with or without mobility limitations,

49、to make easy use of real-estate properties including those outside their residential environment. Terms such as “handicapped accessible” are now obsolete, since they mostly focus on constructional solutions for the needs of wheelchair users. Increasing age and the impairments and restrictions that go along with it change the requirements a person places on his or her environment and its furnishing. Given the fact that life expectancy is
