The resulting open-ings must be closed off by conveyor system shutters(CSS) for the event of a fire.The fire protection effect of the CSS depends not onlyon compliance with the f

Fr dieseFlle ist eine Not- oder Ersatzstromversorgung (z.B.fr das Freifahren der Schli

28、ebereiche) erforderlich,um die Funktion des FAA zu gewhrleisten.Zur Sicherstellung der Funktion muss das zusam-menhngende System nach dem betriebsfertigen Ein-bau aller Einzelkomponenten einer Abnahmeprfungunterzogen werden (siehe Zulassunsgbescheid desDIBt).1 GeltungsbereichDie Richtlinie VDI 4406

29、ist fr FAA gltig, die beiautomatischen Frderanlagen als Abschlsse derffnungen in feuerwiderstandsfhigen Bauteilen,wie Wnde und Decken (siehe MBO 17), zur An-wendung kommen.ffnungen mit FAA nach dieser Richtlinie sind nichtfr den Personenverkehr bestimmt.Werden ausnahmsweise auch Verkehrswege fr denP

30、ersonenverkehr von FAA abgeschlossen, so sind hierdie Unfallverhtungsbestimmungen (VBG 1.0 ff.),z.B Schliekantensicherung und Vermeidung der Ge-fahr von Quetschungen, zu beachten.Diese Richtlinie gilt nicht fr FA, bei denen das Fr-dergut von Hand bewegt wird (z.B. auf innerbetrieb-lichen Verkehrsweg

31、en oder Durchreichungen vonHand).2 Definitionen2.1 Bahngebundene TransportsystemeBahngebundene Transportsysteme sind Frderein-richtungen, bei denen Gter auf vorgegebenen Tras-sen befrdert werden.2.2 Bodenanschluss/EinbaulageDer Bodenanschluss und die Einbaulage der FAA beiWandeinbau knnen wie folgt

CSS must thus not be regarded as in-dividual component, but as part of

33、 the overall system(see Figure 1).This overall system must also be able to function ifthe general power supply fails, for example due to ashort circuit. An emergency or substitute power sup-ply (e.g. for clearing the closing areas) must be pro-vided to ensure the function of the CSS.After the ready-

34、for-operation installation of all the in-dividual components, the overall system must be sub-jected to a final inspection (see DIBt permit certifi-cate) in order to ensure correct functioning.1 Scope of applicationGuideline VDI 4406 applies to FAA used in auto-matic conveyor systems as seals for the

35、 openings infire-resistant elements such as walls and ceilings (seeMBO 17).Openings with CSS according to this guideline arenot suitable for personnel traffic.If, in exceptional cases, passages for personnel trafficare to be closed off with CSS, the accident preventionmeasures (VBG 1.0 ff.), e.g. se

36、curing of closingedges and avoidance of danger due to crushing, shallbe observed.This guideline does not apply to CS in which the ma-terial is moved manually (e.g. on internal passage-ways or manual pass-throughs).2 Definitions2.1 Path-bound transport systemsPath-bound transport systems are conveyor

Frderanlagen (FA)2.4 Frderanlagenabschlsse (FAA)FAA sind allgemein bauaufsichtlich zugelasseneFeuerschutzabschlsse, die ffnungen in feuerwider-standsfhigen und raumabschlieenden Bauteilenverschlieen, durch die FA/bahngebundene Trans-portsysteme

41、 hindurchfhren.Sie haben definierte Grundstellungen und werdendurch Sicherheitseinrichtungen (z.B. berwa-chungseinrichtungen) gesteuert, damit sie im Brand-fall die Bauteilffnungen sicher verschlieen knnen.2.5 FrdereinrichtungenUnter Frdereinrichtungen werden alle Anlagen/Medien verstanden, die Frde

42、rgter bewegen/fhrenund dabei fortbewegen (z.B. Bnder, ferngesteuerteGerte, Ketten, Luft zum Schwebstofftransport, Rin-nen, Rohre, Rollen, Rutschen, Schienen, Schneckenund selbststeuernde Gerte).2.6 FunktionsfreirumeFunktionsfreirume betreffen die Flchen undRume am FAA, die freigehalten werden mssen.

47、e.g. monitoring equipment) sothat they can securely close off the openings in theevent of a fire.2.5 Conveyor equipmentConveyor equipment refers to all systems/media usedto move/carry material for transport purposes (e.g.belts, remote-controlled devices, chains, air for thetransport of particulates,

48、 conduits, pipes, rollers,slides, rails, worms and self-controlling devices).2.6 Functional spacesFunctional spaces refer to the surfaces and areas nearthe CSS which must be kept free. They depend par-ticularly on the design and the closing direction of theCSS. Spaces to be kept free of all equipmen
