15、mitgewirkt haben, sei gedankt.EinleitungDiese Richtlinie behandelt CVD-Diamantwerkzeuge zum Spanen mit geometrisch bestimmter und unbe-stimmter Schneide sowie zum Zerteilen, die nach DIN 8580 der Hauptgruppe Trennen in der Systema-tik der Fertigungsverfahren zugeordnet werden. Die Schneidteile diese

16、r Werkzeuge bestehen aus poly-kristallinem Diamant, der mit verschiedenen Verfah-ren der chemischen Gasphasenabscheidung (Chemi-cal Vapour Deposition, CVD) hergestellt wird. Die Abscheidung von Diamant mittels CVD-Prozessen fhrt zur erweiterten technologischen Nutzung von Diamant als Schneidstoff.Di

17、e Richtlinie zielt auf die eindeutige Klassifizierung von CVD-Diamantwerkzeugen, deren Herstellung und Charakterisierung sowie deren Anwendungsbe-reiche ab. Um einerseits die Vielfalt und Hauptein-satzgebiete der CVD-Diamantwerkzeuge darzustel-len, andererseits aber eine sinnvolle Eingrenzung der An

18、wendungen vorzunehmen, werden die am hufigs-ten in der Produktion verwendeten Fertigungsverfah-ren bercksichtigt. Die Richtlinie soll der Verstndi-gung zwischen Herstellern und Anwendern von CVD-Diamantwerkzeugen dienen und Qualitts-merkmale der Werkzeuge definieren. Dazu wird in den anwendungsbezog

19、enen Teilen eine von der Bear-beitungsaufgabe ausgehende tabellarische Empfeh-lung fr den Einsatz von CVD-Diamantwerkzeugen gegeben. Dies impliziert zum einen verwendbare Werkzeuggeometrien und Schichttypen, zum ande-ren werkstoffbezogene Schnittparameter.Die Richtlinienreihe VDI 2841 besteht aus fo

Tools used for separating pro-cesses are al

23、so dealt with. According to DIN 8580 these are classed under the main category of “Cut-ting” in manufacturing process systematics. The cut-ting parts of these tools consist of polycrystalline dia-mond produced by various chemical vapour deposi-tion (CVD) methods. The deposition of diamond by means o

24、f CVD processes results in an expanded tech-nological utilization of diamond as a cutting material. This guideline aims at presenting a logical classifica-tion of CVD diamond tools, their manufacture and characterisation as well as their areas of application. To show the wide variety and main applic

25、ations of CVD diamond tools and to set reasonable limits to the range of applications, only the most frequently implemented manufacturing processes used in pro-duction are covered. The guideline serves to improve communication between the manufacturers and users of CVD diamond tools and defines the

26、quality char-acteristics of these tools. To this end, a recommenda-tion for the use of CVD diamond tools based on the machining task in question is given in tabular form in the application-related parts of the guideline. This implies the appropriate tool geometries and coating types on the one hand

27、and material-specific cutting parameters on the other. 29、er als Beschichtung durch CVD-Verfahren hergestellt werden. Dabei werden im klassifizierenden Teil dieser Richtlinie die Werk-zeugspezifikationen nach CVD-diamantbeschichte-ten Werkzeugen (CVD-Diamantdnnschichten) und Werkzeugen mit CVD-Diamant-Schneideinsatz unter-schieden und deren Herstellung und

30、 Charakterisierung dargestellt. Werkzeuge mit monokristallinem synthe-tischen oder Naturdiamant (monokristalliner Dia-mant, MKD) und mit gesintertem Diamant mit Bin-derphase (polykristalliner Diamant, PKD) liegen auf-grund ihrer differierenden Herstellungsweise auer-halb der in dieser Richtlinie ang

31、estrebten Systematik.Der Diamant als Kohlenstoffmodifikation wird aus-fhrlich in der Richtlinie VDI 2840 behandelt. Die dort getroffenen Aussagen zur Systematik und Her-stellung und zum Eigenschaftsprofil von CVD-Dia-mant sind die Grundlage zur Beschreibung der CVD-Diamantwerkzeuge.Mit CVD-Diamant b

32、estckte Abrichtwerkzeuge wer-den in der Richtlinie VDI 3392 ausfhrlich behandelt und sind daher nicht Gegenstand der vorliegenden Richtlinie. Dort sind auch Herstellung, Klassifizie-rung sowie Abrichtanwendungen von Naturdiamant, MKD, PKD sowie CVD-Diamant dargestellt. Weite-res Regelwerk im Geltung

33、sbereich von DIN und VDI, das sich explizit dem CVD-Diamant oder den Diamantwerkzeugen in der Zerspanung mit bestimm-ter Schneide widmet, existiert nicht.CVD-Diamant besitzt neben seiner Anwendung als Schneidstoff eine Reihe von weiteren Einsatzfeldern, die im Folgenden aufgefhrt, aber in dieser Ric

34、htlinie nicht beschrieben werden: in der Optik 1; 2 bei Schmuck, Dekoration und Design 3; 4; 5 im Verschleischutz fr Bauteile 6; 7; 8 beim Wrmemanagement 2 in Elektronik und Sensorik 1; 2; 9 fr elektrochemische Anwendungen 1; 2 in der Medizintechnik 1 als Verstrkungsmaterial 2 in der Mikrosystemtech

36、e manufactured by CVD processes, either as a solid single piece or as a coating. In the classifi-cation part of this guideline the tool specifications are differentiated into CVD diamond-coated tools (CVD diamond thin-film coatings) and tools with a CVD diamond cutting insert. Their production and c

37、harac-terisation are also described. Due to their different methods of manufacture, tools with monocrystalline synthetic or natural diamond (MCD or monocrystal-line diamond) or with sintered diamond with a binder phase (PCD or polycrystalline diamond) fall outside the categorisation attempted in thi

38、s guideline. Diamond as a modification of carbon is treated in de-tail in guideline VDI 2840. The information provided there regarding the classification and manufacture and also the properties of CVD diamond form the ba-sis for describing CVD diamond tools. Dressing tools fitted with CVD diamond ar

39、e dealt with in detail in guideline VDI 3392 and do not there-fore fall within the remit of the present guideline. VDI 3392 also describes the manufacture, classifica-tion and dressing applications of natural diamond, MCD, PCD and CVD diamond. There are no further normative publications in existence

40、 within the field covered by the DIN and VDI publications which are explicitly devoted to CVD diamond or diamond tools used in machining with a defined cutting edge.In addition to being used as a cutting material, CVD diamond finds application in a number of other fields of application which althoug

Die unterschiedlichen Herstellungsverfahren von polykristallinen Diamant-Schneidstoffen werden dabei nicht erfasst. Der integrierte Herstellungspro-zess von Werkzeugen mit Niederdruck-Beschich-tungsverfahren wird

44、in den Richtlinien VDI 3198 und VDI 3824 beschrieben. Dabei sind die Definition von Schicht und Substrat sowie die Herstellung und Prfung der beschichteten Werkzeuge und Bauteile miteinander verknpft. Die Richtlinie VDI 2841 Blatt 1 wendet die dort formulierten Anforderungen soweit mglich auf die CV

45、D-Diamantbeschichtung von Trennwerkzeugen an. Die in dieser Richtlinie auftretenden Verfahrensbeschreibungen des Tren-nens orientieren sich an der DIN 8580.2 BegriffeFr die Anwendung dieser Richtlinie gelten die fol-genden Begriffe:AktivltenDas Verbinden von Diamant mit einem metallischen Trger durc

46、h direktes Lten.Anmerkung: Die Lotlegierung enthlt sogenannte Aktivelemente (z. B. Titan), die mit den Kohlenstoffatomen des Diamanten unge-sttigte Carbide bilden und den Diamant auf diese Weise an das Lot binden. Diese Ltungen werden im Vakuum oder Schutzgas durch-gefhrt.CFK (kohlenstofffaserverstr

47、kter Kunststoff)Verstrkter Kunststoff, bei dem Kohlenstofffasern, meist Langfasern, in eine Kunststoffmatrix eingebet-tet sind.CVD-Synthese (chemische Abscheidung aus der Gasphase, CVD)Verfahren zur Herstellung von Diamant meist bei Niederdruck und Beschichtungstemperaturen von 600 C bis 1000 C.Anme
