2、central UPS systems. It can be edited for smaller single-module UPS systems. PART 1 - GENERAL 1.1 DESCRIPTION This section specifies the furnishing, installation, and connection of the central uninterruptible power supply (UPS). The UPS system shall consist of UPS module, battery system, static bypa
3、ss transfer switch, controls and monitoring. 1.2 RELATED WORK /A. 6、ANCE Refer to Paragraph, QUALIFICATIONS, in Section 26 05 11, REQUIREMENTS FOR ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS. 1.4 FACTORY TESTS A. Uninterruptible power supplies shall be thoroughly tested at the factory to assure that there are no electrical or mechanical defects. Provided by IHSNot for ResaleNo reprodu

The UPS system shall be factory full-load tested to meet the requirements specified using a test battery (not the battery to be supplied with the system) with ac input power and with battery power for a minimum of 8 hour
8、s, with meter readings taken every 30 minutes. Should a malfunction occur, the problem shall be corrected and the test shall be repeated. The tests shall encompass all aspects of operation, such as module failure, static bypass operation, battery failure, input power failure and overload ratings. C.
9、 Furnish four (4) copies of certified manufacturers factory test reports to the Resident Engineer prior to shipment of the UPS equipment to ensure that the UPS equipment has been successfully tested as specified. D. Provide IEEE Std 450 battery installation certification. /E. The Resident Engineer s
10、hall have an option to witness factory tests. The Resident Engineer shall be notified in writing at least 2 weeks before testing. All expenses of the Resident Engineers trip to witness the testing will be paid by the Government./ 1.5 SUBMITTALS Submit in accordance with Section 26 05 11, REQUIREMENT
11、S FOR ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS: A. Shop Drawings: 1. Sufficient information, clearly presented, shall be included to determine compliance with drawings and specifications. 2. Include electrical ratings, dimensions, mounting details, materials, required clearances, terminations, weight, wiring and co
12、nnection diagrams, plan, front, side, and rear elevations, accessories, and device nameplate data. B. Manuals: 1. Submit, simultaneously with the shop drawings, companion copies of complete maintenance and operating manuals including technical data sheets, wiring diagrams, and information for orderi
13、ng replacement parts. a. Wiring diagrams shall have their terminals identified to facilitate installation, maintenance, and operation. b. Wiring diagrams shall indicate internal wiring for each item of equipment and the interconnection between the items of equipment. c. Provide a clear and concise d
14、escription of operation, which gives, in detail, the information required to properly operate the equipment. d. 15、09 26 32 53 - 3 2. Two weeks prior to final inspection, deliver four copies of the final updated maintenance and operating manuals to the Resident Engineer. a. The manuals shall be updated to include any information necessitated by shop drawing approval. b. Complete “As Installed“ wiring and schemat
16、ic diagrams shall be included which show all items of equipment and their interconnecting wiring. c. Show all terminal identification. d. Include information for testing, repair, trouble shooting, assembly, disassembly, and recommended maintenance intervals. e. Provide a replacement parts list with
17、current prices. Include a list of recommended spare parts, tools, and instruments for testing and maintenance purposes. f. Furnish manuals in loose-leaf binder or manufacturers standard binder. C. Certifications: 1. Two weeks prior to final inspection, submit four copies of the following to the Resi
18、dent Engineer: a. Certification by the Contractor that the assemblies have been properly installed, adjusted and tested. b. Certified copies of all of the factory design and production tests, field test data sheets and reports for the assemblies. 1.6 APPLICABLE PUBLICATIONS A. Publications listed be
