3、ary of Topics This revision of UL 6500 is being issued to revise the requirements for button cell batteries to clarify that the construction requirement applies to the entire battery compartment door/cover. UL 6500 is an adoption of IEC 60065, Safety of Audio, video and similar electronic apparatus

4、Safety Requirements (Sixth Edition, issued July 1998). Text that has been changed in any manner or impacted by ULs electronic publishing system is marked with a vertical line in the margin. Changes in requirements are marked with a vertical line in the margin and are followed by an effective date no

5、te indicating the date of publication or the date on which the changed requirement becomes effective. DU Deviations based on Basic Safety Principles and safety practices: These are deviations which are either 1) based on basic saf
