3、ISION:Add the following new paragraphs.11.2.7.1 (New) The following instructions shall be provided in an instruction sheet, manual, booklet orsimilar printed material and shall be repeated in any electronic media instructions provided:a) The instructions and warning statements required by paragraphs

4、 11.2.3 11.2.6.b) Installation instructions relating to the stability of the refrigerator.All other instructions may be provided in electronic read-only media format, such as CD-ROM or webaccessible URL.11.2.7.2 (New) The printed instruction material referenced in 11.2.7.1 shall contain detailed ins

5、tructions ofhow to obtain a printed copy of the material contained in electronic format.RATIONALE FOR DECISION:UL 250 specifies that installation and operating instructions shall be provided with the appliance. In thepast, these instructions have typically been provided in hard copy printed format.

6、However, for a varietyof reasons, manufacturers are looking at other means to provide this important information. Instructionsrequired by UL 250 must be readily available to the user. The addition of paragraphs 11.2.7.1 and 11.2.7.2outlines the requirements regarding the use of electronic media and
