3、 conductors5.4.1 Interlocked aluminum or zinc-coated steel armor intended for use as a ground path in accordancewith 4.1.2.3 and interlocked armor on a cable containing any 21.2 mm2 (4 AWG) or larger insulatedconductor(s) shall grip the cable to keep the conductor assembly from being withdrawn from

4、a sample 3m (10 ft) long by the application of a pull of 133 N or 13.6 kgf (30 lbf). The ends of the conductors shallnot recede into the armor more than 13 mm (0.5 in).5.4.2 Compliance with 5.4.1 shall be determined in accordance with the test, Tightness of armor in UL2556 or NMX-J-556-ANCE.RATIONAL

5、E FOR DECISION:During the harmonization of UL 1569, many test methods were removed from the document and instead,a reference to UL 2556 was made. In the case of the Tightness of Armor test, the requirement for slippagewas inadvertently omitted from the method. This revision corrects the oversight.Co
