By such action, TIAEIA does not assume any liabiily to any patent owner, nor does it assume any obligation whatever to parties adopting the Standard or Publication. TIA/EIA INTERIM STANDARDS TIA/EIA Interim Standards contain information deeme
6、d to be of technical value to the industry, and are published at the request of the originating Committee without necessarily following the rigorous public review and resolution of comments which is a procedural part of the development of a TIA/EIA Standard. TIA/EIA Interim Standarcis should be revi
7、ewed on an muai basis by the formulating Committee and a decision made on whether to proceed to develop a TIA/EIA Standard on this subject. TIAEIA Interim Standards must be cancelled by the Committee and removed from the TWEIA Standards Catalog before the end of their third year of existence. Public
8、ation of this TIAIEIA Interim Standard for trial use and comment has been approved by the Telecommunications Industry Association. Distribution of this TIA/EIA Interim Standard for comment shall not continue beyond 36 months from the date of publication. It is expected that following this 36 month p
9、eriod, this TIA/EIA Interim Standard, revised as necessary, will be submitted to the American National Standards Institute for approval as an American National Standard. Suggestions for revision should be directed to: Eric Schimmel, Standards or that (in the negative form) a certain possibiiity or c
10、ourse of action is discouraged but not prohibited. May“ and “need not“ indicate a course of action permissible within the bits of the standard. “Can“ and “cannot“ are used for statements of possibiiity and capability, whether material, physical, or causal. Footnotes appear at various points in this
11、specification to elaborate and further ciarify items discussed in the body of the specification. Unless indicated otherwise, this document presents numbers in decimal form. Binary numbers are distinguished in the text by the use of single quotation marks. In some tables, binary values may appear wit
12、hout single quotation marks if table notation clearly specifies that values are binary. The character x is used to represent a binary bit of unspecified value. For example xxx0010 represents any 8-bit binary value such that the least signifcant five bits equal 00010. Hexadecimal numbers (base 16) ar
13、e distinguished in the text by use of the form Oxh. h where h.h represents a string of hexadecimal digits. For example, Ox2fa1 represents a number whose binary value is O0101 11 110100001 and whose decimal value is 12193. Note that the exact number of bits in the binary representation of a hexadecim
