The adoption of MPT 1347 was approved with the following deviations: The designation “Band Ill sub-bands 1 and 2“ is not applicable and should be ignored throughout the document. For all references to DTI,

For channel spacing (see 4.1.1) and channel designation (see 5.1.2), refer to national annex A. Manufacturers codes and checkout algorithms will be issued by the Independent

The structure of the system identity code (see 9.3.2) to be used by a particular network, will be advised by the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA).
