15、 from other forms ofheat transfer in that its speed of propagation equals that of light and no intervening medium is required for itstransmission.)3.2.4 EMITTANCEThe ability of a surface to emit radiant energy. It is expressed as the ratio of the radiant energyemitted per unit time, per unit area, b
