6、COPE 1.1 Form This specification covers a copper alloy (phosphor bronze) in the form of sheet, strip, and plate. 1.2 Application These products have been used typically for stampings and springs, but usage is not limited to such applications. 2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS The issue of the following docume

11、lloys 3. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Composition Shall conform to the percentages by weight shown in Table 1, determined by ASTM E478, or by other analytical methods acceptable to purchaser. Limits may be established and analysis required for unnamed elements by agreement between the manufacturer or supplier and purchaser. 3.1.2 Copper may be reported as “r
13、emainder”, or as the difference between the sum of results for all analyzed elements and 100%, or as the result of direct analysis. 3.1.3 When all named elements in Table 1 are analyzed, the sum shall be minimum, but such determination is not required for routine acceptance of each lot. 3.2 Conditio
14、n Cold rolled, spring (H08) temper (See 8.2). 3.3 Properties The product shall conform to the following requirements. 3.3.1 Tensile Properties Shall be 91 to 105 ksi (627 to 724 MPa), determined in accordance with ASTM E8/E8M. 3.3.2 Hardness Shall be as shown in Table 2, or equivalent hardness (See
15、8.3), determined in accordance with ASTM E18.
